The Christian Youth's: DEVOTIONAL & PRAYER LIFE

Devotional and prayer life can usually be a daunting task for many youths, having to lose a couple hours or minutes of sleep can be such a difficult thing to do. I do not know about you, but when I'm nice and warm in bed, getting out of bed to pray can be really strenuous, let alone having to pick up my Bible to study it.

But, God wants you to have a relationship with him through his word, so that you can enjoy the full benefits of being his close ally. It would be so easy to turn to God, if you know him. It would be so easy to ask anything of him, if you know him. He would out of his measurable love do anything for you, if you seek a close relationship with him.
It certainly is difficult when you giving up your time, but it is rewarding. There is so much peace in knowing you are a closest friend. The enemy would not dare to lay a finger on you because you are always in the presence of the Most High.

Ephesians 6:12
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

The Bible urges us to keep on praying as our 'norms' aren't necessarily 'Spiritually normal'. You may not see it, but the devil does, he sees your potential, he sees the ideas that springs up into your mind daily. He sees them, he sees you passing that class beyond target. Yeah, but as you might have guessed, he is up to no good. He doesn't care about you to see you soar higher unto bigger and better things.
Well there is good news though, God has opened his arms wide for us to ask him to fight our battles on our behalf. All you have left to do is to untie his hands in order for him to order his army to fight on your behalf. We know God is victorious, Lord of Hosts, he can't lose.
Why do we give up such opportunity and lose our battles?
Why aren't we using the authority given to us by God to combat the enemy and his army? We have let the enemy won way too many of our battles, it is time to go and get what is yours cause remember, you have been bought at a higher price, you are co-heirs with Jesus, therefore everything God has belongs to you.

Ephesians 3:14-18
For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And i pray that you, being rooted and established in love.
Lets get our devotional and prayer lives together cause the devil is working over time, seeking to take away what God has given to us.
